It does not easily stay in place in the crystal base, as the rubber rim pushes it forward and occasionally pops out. The face itself is awkward with the roman numerals being tall and narrow and positioned oddly upside down. It's all silver in color w/o the gold detail the original had, but I had known about this last detail (no gold) when I talked to someone to order it.
